From day one, PANTA has stayed committed to featuring the work of talented artists and creative professionals who use their craft to have a positive impact on society. This issue is no exception. Content ranges from interviews with long-time contributor and queer scene photographer Pepper Levain and Aliou Touré, lead singer of Malian resistance band Songhoy Blues to features about the PangeaSeed Foundation which gives the ocean a voice through art and the bomb, an immersive audiovisual art installation that takes viewers through the strange reality of nuclear weapons today. These are just some of the exciting and inspiring stories we have set out to tell you in our brand new issue.

“If you manage to grab someone’s attention,
then please seize that moment to get your point across.”
— Herakut, issue 5
